This Christmas, everyone’s getting a
Made in Liberia gift!

In Liberia, there are two major holidays when people love to exchange gifts: July 26th (Independence Day) and Christmas.  Honestly, I don’t even think birthdays get as many gifts as those two occasions!  We even came up with a fun phrase that captures the spirit of both celebrations: “My 26 on you o, and my Christmas on you o.”  Okay, it might not be the most creative phrase, but it perfectly expresses the joy and generosity that come with these festive seasons.

So, how about we make this Christmas extra special by exchanging Made in Liberia products? Imagine gifting a basket filled with spices and everything nice from H-Zoequoi, PAF, and Nao.  Imagine a basket filled with some Moringa Tea from Zaag and coffee from Brisco. Or delicious natural juices from Faith Natural Juice. Or perhaps a collectible doll from Ms. Koko dressed in Liberian Country Cloth, a custom-made outfit from Deawula Cultural or Liberian Threads, or a snack pack from Comfort’s Food.

For those who like a little spirit, how about a rum and vodka affair gift box featuring Jack’s Rum, John St. Paul Rum, and HAMS Vodka? You could even share a piece of Lofa with Patience’s Cocoa and Sele, home décor from Pauline and Prayer Business Center, jewelry from Forever Glamours, or a beauty basket from Naz Beauty.  And that’s just a taste of what’s out there!

Discover even more local treasures at the next Made in Liberia Fair, happening on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Monrovia City Hall.
